Welcome to the South Liverpool and Mersey Motor Cycle Club web site

The clubs currently run in tandem and are ACU affiliated to the North Western Centre for the Mersey Club and the Cheshire Centre for the South Liverpool Motor Cycle Club.

The clubs are both motor cycle sport based and participative in both support and riding in events.

We are a small group who organise adult observed trials, vintage sprinting and provide technical support for other events. The team are trained scrutineers, noise meter operators and stewards for most type of ACU Motor Cycle Events. Unfortunately we do not cater for junior riders or advise on areas were off road or mini motorcycles can be ridden.

The trials we run are :-

                     The Foster Cup Trial  held at Cilcain nr Mold - North Wales  -  5th  February 2012 - Enter on the day

                     The Reliance Trial for Pre 65 machines -Booth farm nr Buxton  Derbyshire  -   June 2011

                      Frank Anderton & John Lyons handle the Trials Organisation.

Previously the SLMC have hosted and organised the Lomax Trial in the Cerriog Valley North Wales on Easter Monday, due the level of resources required we have now handed the event over to the Llangollen club,    The SLMC team wish the Llangollen club every success in running the event over the coming years and hope that all the riders and friends of the Lomax Trial will support the event as ever.

On the 20th April this year held a reunion type get together of South Liverpool and Mersey Club members, ex member and friends of the Club's.

came together for a chat in Huyton, Liverpool, It was a great success and we would like to thank Graham and Allen for the organisation, all the people who attended the reunion.  Thanks go to Dot and Jim Jones who brought along films and DVD's for us to record our memories plus Les Crowther and his films.
